Do you smell that? There is definitely a whiff of love triangle in the air. This Rue, Lexi and Jules situation is absolutely brewing up some drama on
Euphoria, and if you can't see it, then you should probably go rewatch and look out for all of the moments Lexi looked at Rue with full-on heart eyes. Anyway, here's everything we know about Lexi Howard so far.
LEXI IS PLAYED BY MAUDE APATOW.
Yes, as in director Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann's daughter, Maude. She's only 21, but she's been acting forevs. You probably recognize her from Girls, Knocked Up, and Assassination Nation.
CASSIE IS HER OLDER SISTER.
This fact is kinda easy to forget because Cassie and Lexi don't seem super close from what we've seen so far, but yes, they're sisters! (Side note: does anyone else need to see like, way more of Cassie and Lexi's mom? She sort of dropped off after the first episode, but she seems like a real hoot.)
SHE'S RUE'S CHILDHOOD BEST FRIEND.
Rue and Lexi were BFFs growing up, but they seem to be drifting apart as they're getting older. Still, Lexi will do pretty much anything for her...as exhibited by the fact that she literally smuggled Rue some urine so that she could pass the home drug test her mom made her take.
ACTUALLY...RUE WAS LEXI'S FIRST KISS.
Okay, maybe not her first. That hasn't technically been confirmed. She was definitely at least one of the firsts, though. In "'03 Bonnie and Clyde," Rue is going over her complete sexual history when she mentions that she tried to teach Lexi how to French kiss because Tucker Blake invited her to the freshman formal. After the smooch, Lexi says, "Is this like, really weird and uncomfortable for you?" and then dips out to get ready.
THE INTERNET'S CONVINCED THAT SHE LOVES RUE.
Rue is obviously obsessed with Jules, but it definitely feels as though Jules isn't feeling the relationship to the same level. Lexi, on the other hand, seems like she'd do absolutely anything for Rue, and Twitter is predicting that things are going to get messy.
It looks like Rue is making an effort to include Lexi in more plans with Jules, but who knows where this will go? For now, though, it's pretty heartbreaking to see Jules try to skidaddle out of spending lots of time with Rue, while Lexi is looking for her attention.
